Professional look, great material, fantastic price January 30, 2016 Reviewer: jimmie doogan   These are a great short for the money.  They fit great, don't balloon out, there are no size discrepancies like some other lifeguard shorts on Amazon, as in, I'm 6'1", 195 lbs of athlete not fat, with a 33inch waist, and the medium fit as it should.  I have big thighs as a result of several years of squatting a barbell, and these fit well, a little on the tighten than looser side of fit.Very nice lightweight fabric that dries very very quickly.  Id rather a lighter cheaper fabric that dries fast and is not sweaty to wear, over a thicker fabric.  Lifeguards stand or sit, the shorts shouldn't be heavy, they should be as light as possible.  So anyone that complains about the ease of ripping needs to buy a $1 sewing kit, and spend a little time fixing them.  I don't really see how how these would easily rip, I'm betting those reviews are because the fabric got caught on something or brushed up against something sharp...again, they are a swimming trunk, not a pair of carhartts!!!!THE GUARD EMBLEM IS EMBROIDERED!!!! Need I say more?  There isn't another guard short that's as inexpensive as these, that has the emblem embroidered.  They are always stamped or ironed on, and look like crap when they ware out.  This is a nice embroidered guard emblem, and look very very professional.
